Umrah

So it's the third umrah I've done. The first and second one was when I was 8 and 13. This time, it's better because much bigger portion of my family members went there. Besides my family, also in the group is my uncle's family and my grandparents. Total, 14. Yeah. The journey to there was quite complicated. From KL, we had a transit at Bangkok, then a transit at Cairo, then Medina. The same goes for the return flight. From Jeddah, we had a transit at Cairo, then Bangkok again, then KL. But the first transit to Cairo was a 12 hour transit so we got the chance to travel around the city of Cairo. I got to see the pyramids, where Devastator tried to suck the energon in one of the pyramids for Cybertron, I learnt how paper were made from papyrus. Then I strolled around Al-Azhar. It looks like Oxford. Old castle buildings. After that, shopping. The bazaar I tell you, is like Diagon Alley in Harry Potter. Buildings built very near apart, dark, you can see some lights coming up from the sky, lots of stuff. Just like Diagon Alley. I bought a cute little pyramid made from egyptian limestone for cha because she wants one but instead, I bought for other two guys, tira and iefa. And one for me. Surprisingly the weather is not that hot like everyone in the world said. Those are just deception. It's cold there! The sun was shining bright but the temperature was cold. Theory about equilibrium heat might not be usable there. LOL. After 12 hours, we hopped into the airplane and proceed to Medina. We stayed there for 5 days. The rest, Mecca. One of the best things there is the Magnet Valley. Along the valley, the ground is magnetised. The whole valley was like a room temperature super-conductor! As an evidence, the driver put the van to neutral and the van accelerates. He steered the van without pressing the oil. The speed was 110 km/h !!! This is the kind of stuffs I'm trying to invent, a room temperature super conductor that would create new source of energy. Next is Mecca. One of the things I've never done before during at Mecca was going hiking up Nur Hill until we reached Hira' Cave, the cave prophet Muhamamad got his first message from God. It's quite a Lord of the Ring journey. We're like Freddo and Bilbo Baggins hiking up the mountains and see the Sauron, which is the Zam-zam tower, world's second tallest building. 12:00 o'clock sharp, it's 4th of April, my birthday. First, I'm lucky celebrating my birthday on top of that hill. Second, I'm lucky not being at school that day so I'm free from any pranks. I also done my Radioactivity assignment there. I never learnt about it and my teacher told me to do that thing so I didn't know anything about radioactivity. Luckily my dad had experience in handling radioactive stuffs so he explained to me. Masjidil haram was undergoing a massive enlargement project. There were about 20 cranes. Quite dusty at the rooftop because of the construction. Furthermore, because of the construction a quarter of the mosque is closed so people have to squeeze into the centre area which makes it very compact. I also got my new watch there. A rare aztec patterned Swatch. I never saw it in Malaysia. Planned to buy one more because of the difference in currency rate but no idea what to buy. That's all I guess.
