new zealand: day 6

today, i went to kaikoura to do something i had never did before - whale watching. the journey started from the whale watch centre. a bus came and brought me to the jetty where the cruise awaits. the cruise took only an hour and a half but it was worth. i got the chance to see nine whales along the journey. guess what? the species i was hunting were called the sperm whales. haha. it doesn't look like a sperm at all. anyway, after whale watching, i went to a sheep shearing show! o yeah! the guy was really nice and funny. the guy introduced to me many different kinds of sheep species. i was lucky that day because that day was his first time to shear a black sheep. so of he went to shear the black sheep. it took only 5 minutes to shear the whole body of the sheep. that's fast. and, according to him, a 3kg of sheep wool cost about $50 NZ. not so bad, huh?
